@br00t4c In my own theory, billionaires are colluding to promote fascism everywhere where the economy is based on oil (ie everywhere in the world). Because they know that an informed electorate would eventually vote to LIVE and resist having their children die in climate disaster. Trump’s job is to make fascism entertaining. SCOTUS job is specifically to kill the power of democracy to restrain oil oligarchs. Chevron is their knife in the heart of human survival.

I do see a difference. Millions of people under the sway of the Nazis performed the salute as a demonstration of obedience - quick, strong and emotionless. Musk is not that kind of Nazi. His was not a salute of obedience. His was a salute of personal victory and heartfelt enthusiasm for *his* Nazis. He is not a Nazi follower - he is a Nazi leader and he has every reason to be enthusiastic.

@jeffowski True in my life. In the 70s graduated bachelor degree - first job earned $10K/year. Bought first home for $10K. Earning price of house per year. Before retiring in 2014 was earning $60K/year- living in house worth $420K. Wages up 6x - Housing up 43x.

And...since Putin is the defacto leader of the GOP, we should remember that he made "supporting a gay lifestyle" a criminal offense and now he has made purposely being without offspring a criminal offense.
Maybe we need to hack Fox News and broadcast Handmaid's Tale to the people who really need to see it.

@gentrifiedrose @_L1vY_ @bronakins @GottaLaff Houses WERE 20,000 when I bought first house in 72. My pay was 10,000 so house was 2x salary. Today where I live in Nanaimo BC, average income is 40,000 - average house price is 640,000 so 16x salary. Average down payment is 1.5x salary. I do not get how any new buyer can survive.Banks are just giving longer & longer mortgages squeezing more interest and making fortunes for the rich. Time to buy pitchforks, I guess.

Why do we allow this waste? Why do we support their fantasies of power. What can you do with 47 billion that you can't do with 4 billion? Other than buy politicians or whole governments? What good is that money in the pockets of people who will never need it?
