Is it Czech Republic or Czechia? I use both interchangeably. I do like Czechia though, because we don't go round calling France the French Republic. Other republics are available.
I wonder why the term is Vtuber when they don't use YouTube. The may be 2 times I've tried watching one they were on Twitch, So surely it should be Vtwitcher? but that sounds like a virtual birdwatcher. I dunno.
Ffs I'm tired of VoiceOver constantly reading the progress bar of embedded video players in Safari when I'm trying to read the article's text. Music Radar is a huge culprit for it. Betting it'll never get fixed.
Someone has made a VST3 emulation of the Ensoniq SD-1 synth from 1990. It's not one I'm familiar with but I have played a VFX, which this claims to load patches from. I have no idea how screen reader accessible it is - probably not. Somehow the emulation is MAME-based which doesn't fill me with confidence. It requires a ROM file to work. https://github.com/sojusrecords/Ensoniq-SD-1-32-Voice-VST-emulation
I really do love that most of you on here describe your visual things. Remember you can also describe gifs and videos so blind people know what's so funny about the random clip of a song you uploaded.
You know the song "The Rubber Band man" by The Spinners*, is playing tunes on an elastic band something people actually do? I haven't come across it. The really thin ones can make some right squelchy almost 303 type noises. *not to be confused with the folk band The Spinners. The other one was called The Detroit Spinners in the UK.
In iOS's personal hotspot settings, what does turning on "Maximise Compatibility" actually do? All I know is that I need it enabled for my Windows pc to connect to my iPhone's hotspot, and searching for it just turns up the usual crop of slop articles.
My wife and I are talking about Children of Men - a film I've never watched and I don't know much about. Some of the plot sounds a lot like the horrors happening now. It came out in 2006 and is set in next January.
I've just tried skittles for the first time in years and remembered why I haven't had them in ages. They don't taste nice and I think the amount of crap in them has given me a bit of a headache.
I'm always bemused when I come across the keycap emojis for numbers( 3️⃣2️⃣) rather than the regular old boring numbers (32). All that extra work needed to find numbers when they're standard things on every keyboard, for what? A slightly fancy design? The wonderful* bonus feature depending on the screen reader where numbers are read out like "key cap three, key cap two", and the fact that you can't read them on braille displays? Obvious improvement right there I'm sure you can agree. I've just seen a blindness org use them to pretty their social media post. You'd think they'd know better. *not wonderful at all.
My wife would like recommendations for video editing software for Windows that isn't Adobe and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. She is sighted so accessibility features aren't a concern.
I still think it's cool that the ps4 can stream games to any computer on our network, and you can play them as though you're sitting in front of the telly. I used that feature when my wife worked from home and I wanted to play The Last Of Us 2.
@FastSM I've just started using this and already have a suggestion: In the templates page, how about a button to activate a menu of the wildcards you can use as an aid to making templates? I'm thinking similar to how Reaper does that in the Render dialogue box.
