Yes Mobian contributions would be great, with possibly a small custom repo on top with some branding and early days maybe some hardware support but it should be the goal to get rid of that.

Little bit sad to see it will come with it's own distro though, imo hardware vendors should not focus on shipping their own OS but instead make sure existing mainstream options work well with it (by mainlining and using open-source drivers ofc!). A lot of people will want to install a distro they're already familiar with anyway.

Some madlad has gotten the latest #Mono working, completely #bootstrapped from source (no pre-compiled binaries present anywhere in the process).

What an achievement! In my opinion every package/toolchain/programming language should be able to be bootstrapped like this, but developers are definitely making this harder than necessary.

Please someone package this for #AlpineLinux!

Het is er niet alleen niet voor Ubuntu, het is er überhaupt niet voor Linux. Misschien kan Android Translation Layer er over een tijdje wat mee maar dat is natuurlijk niet de goede oplossing

@jschwart @johannesbeers @postmarketOS DigiD werkt idd nog zonder app, maar ik vraag mij af voor hoe lang nog. SMS wordt universeel als onveilig gezien en daar ben ik het ook wel mee eens. Via een app is dan natuurlijk geen goede optie, ik zou het liever via e-mail zien.

@julianfairfax @schmiddionmobile Not a joke, but it definitely wasn't meant as an insult either. I'm sure you're making great apps but it's a fact that libadwaita apps look out of place on anything but GNOME. That's fine for a GNOME app but stuff like Lutris or Bottles, which should really be desktop independent, also use it and thus look completely different from anything else on my desktop. It's just a shame to also see that happening in the mobile space, that's all.
