@queserasera @prsa Media response aside, it seems like you’re not very well informed about the world of open source LLMs. You either don’t know or completely ignore the relevance of Meta's Llama or Mistral, Microsoft's phi and Google's many models in developing open source LLMs.
Open source LLMs have always existed and been the biggest part of the Gen AI world. You just weren’t aware of it.

@pixelfed Honestly, this is the worst open letter I've ever read. It lacks maturity and professionalism. It's full of snarky comments and a tone that doesn't encourage an adult conversation.
He had the chance to show Meta is the one acting like a child, but instead he made himself sound like one. And that's sad.

One thing I absolutely love in iOS 18 and wish we can also have it on Android is how customizable control center is. It allows you to add or remove toggles, resize them, and even put them in different pages.
It's not something you'd expect from Apple.

@BeAware disliking millions of people without even knowing their names, let alone their personality is not very logical tbh. But hey, people are free to like or dislike anyone they want.
I also have a very hard time understanding how a screenshot can attract someone to a platform. Unless that platform has and provides a certain value that the person considers valuable. Like freedom of expression. But that's just my opinion.

@BeAware not everyone "left" Twitter for Mastodon. I personally use both of them, even though I use Mastodon more.
I really don't get what's the point of hating a platform. Twitter has its strengths and flaws, like any other platform.

The biggest problem with #Mastodon (and to a larger extent #Fediverse) is that admin can suspend a user without any prior notice, and without any formal way for user to appeal the decision. Also users has no way of exporting their data.
This means users on this platform have no rights.
