I was trying to figure a way to deface the new Tesla dealership that they just built up the street without going to jail.
And then I realized that a good portion of the exterior appears to be stainless steel which means that, if it’s the same stuff they use for their cyber trucks, it will rust all on its own.
Can you imagine the look on the faces of the knuckleheads when DJT eliminates FEMA and requires the individual states to take care of their own selves when there’s a natural disaster?
I mean, it’s not like the red states support themselves through taxes. How do they think they are going to pay for clean up and re-building the next time a hurricane blows through Dallas or New Orleans?
Or, as Lennon/McCartney put it many years later, “The love you take is equal to the love you make.”
Or, as L. Frank Baum put it, “A heart is not judged by how much you love, but by how much you are loved by others.”
Or, as Barry Mann said, “Who put the bomp in the bomp bah bomp bah bomp, Who put the ram in the rama lama ding dong? Who put the bop in the bop shoo bop shoo bop? Who put the dip in the dip da dip da dip? Who was that man?”
“If I have to create stories so that the American media actually pays attention to the suffering of the American people, then that’s what I’m going to do.” JD Vance
Where I come from, people who make up stories filled with falsehoods represented as the truth are called “liars” (as opposed to authors of fiction novels and the like).
What actions do I want to stop? None. He’s entitled to say any stupid thing that pops into his mind, as he often does. Where he owns a social media site, we are powerless to stop him there. I don’t go there. Haven’t for quite a long while. Thanks.
The system doesn’t tolerate Musk’s comments. We are powerless to stop him other than boycotting every product with which he is involved (Tesla, SolarCity, Twitter, etc.). So to that extent, many of us do not.
Please note below the huge (uuuge) decrease of DJT Media stock which occurred on the 11th from a close of 18.62 on the 10th to a low of 15.41. I wonder, wonder why.
BTW, this represents a decrease of close to 20% in one day in addition to the 20% decrease over the previous 3 months.
At the age of 65 I learned about the diaeresis. Used in such words as coöperate and naïve. Who knew?
Most consider it obsolete btw. Found it in a Bill McKibben article which doesn’t surprise me. Knew Bill briefly growing up and I’m proud to say I beat him at 1st affirmative defense in our very first debate on the Lexington High School debate team. After that it was downhill for me and good lord, look at Bill. A great and early voice on climate change.
