I haven’t been to Zabar’s Cafe for a long time (I do go to Zabar’s itself almost every week). Things have changed but traditional favorites like babka & cheese blintzes are still here!! I do miss the communal big table that used to be in the center of this cafe though. Now the eating corner is outside with no chairs.

In a very broad sense, even this mid-term surprised a lot of us & polls. What a rollercoaster.

(& inversely, I do think that US system is healthier if not perfect in the very sense that we don't know what's gonna happen in 2 yrs. Unlike PRC or Japan for that matter.

@RichelleG I've lived in NYC all my adult life (except for the 3-4 yrs in Portland, OR in early aughts). Changed citizenship too so at this point this is my home. Used to do theater/dance but left performance (law school does that to you)...I'm learning jewelry making now. Will post my new piece soon?

@Bam @QasimRashid I do think 51 is a LOT better than 50. I know about the House and what the next 2 yrs will look like, but taking away power from Manchin/Sinema matters.
