@skinnylatte Forgive me if I'm mixing people up but I think it was you that posted at one point about sweet breakfasts in America being a bit jarring as an immigrant and being more accustomed to mild sweet or even savory? I remember it caught my attention and intrigue, I finally got around to trying an experiment with some whole rolled oats. Peanut butter, the more organic "nuts, nut oil, salt, no extra sugar" kind I'd probably end up making if I had the chance. Fresh thyme, of all things! Bit of dark brown sugar to balance out. I think I added a little too much extra salt but this "savory oatmeal" is actually really delightful, I feel like I should chop up some mild, non-trash/overbred apples on top and it'd be perfect.
Again, I hope I'm not mixing you and another up but I'm very thankful for the idea!
