@davidho this is a typical Parisian trap… the t+ tickets are only available “intramuros" (so only for some zones which cover Paris itself and “some" outside stations) and the gates only know where you enter, not where you intend to get out so can't enforce that you use the proper ticket… The quintessential example for this is La Défense which you can reach either by RER (with a more costly ticket) or via the Métro with a t+ ticket… 😬

@julie il y’avait un Rennes - Lyon de nuit il y a encore quelques années: mes parents le prenaient parfois pour venir nous voir…
Les grandes diagonales (Brest - Nice) et les périphéries (Hendaye - Nice) en train de nuit ont du sens.

@zeh @Brendanjones while I agree on principle, it’s easier said that done when you have mortgages / bills breathing down your neck (which I realize are a means of oppression meant to prevent exactly this sort of systemic change)…
