okay, the actual reason everyone's using wireless headphones is because apple removed the headphone jack because they hate you (yes you) personally and none of the android phone manufacturers can think for themselves

this post inspired by me only having wireless headpones with me since no one cares about noise-isolating over-ears, especially not wired ones.

fuck it, buying a dt 700 pro x now since that seems like it's about as good as i'm going to get for "wear all the time becuase the world is loud" headphones unless i can find someone to make me custom in-ears that don't cause pain when i wear them for 5 minutes

wireless headphones:

• turn them on
• pair them with your computer
• a2dp doesn't work, so turn them off them off and on again
• a2dp still doesn't work, so unpair and repair them
• after 3 tries, they start working again
• watch a video, all the audio is like 500ms delayed
• wait until they run out of battery
• throw them in the trash

wired headphones:

• you plug them in
• listen to music/watch a video, audio has no perceivable delay

wow i can see why everyone is using wireless headphones now

i love how my landlord's management company is so incompetent that they can't increase my rent:

our lease expired on 31 december, we've been implicitly month to month since.

in april they said they wanted to increase our rent on 1 may, i said that was illegal and they have to wait until 1 august.

they sent me a renewal, which i signed. they then said there was a typo and asked me to sign a new one.

i signed the new one and they haven't countersigned or increased the requested rent payment on the website.

i suspect that i'm allowed to pay the old rate until they countersign the lease, but i'm not sure, i should probably ask a tenant union
