Today I needed change for bus fare so I stopped at a corner store and bought Hawkins Cheezies. You know, guilty pleasure. Got home, opened the bag and started eating but couldn't finish it as it was so salty. It was disgusting. What happened to me?

I also interviewed Victoria's former mayor who is Chinese Canadian and he shared his story growing up in Victoria's Chinese community. It's a historic docu-drama and the perk of the job is I get to listen to a lot of interesting stories.

@smellsofbikes she didn't explain but that's what I figured. She was wearing a cedar woven hat and she pointed at the hat when she was talking about the "thread". I forgot the name of the plant they used to skewer the clams but she said the hole left from those sticks were about the same size as the cedar strings/threads.
