Got juice from the little supermarket, and it turns out the candy store is open 'late' (8 instead of 6) on Fridays, so I popped in for a bag of giant sour pickle. but I had to wait in line so I inevitably bought something that looked weird and kind of gross because that's what I do with candy

@funkula I worked at a resale shop that had a huge bookshelf in the corner with 1$ cds which was stuff that didnt sell or a teen bought on accident etc. I would go through on my break and grab a huge pile based on the covers, listen to them at our listening station, and buy 3-5 a week. I also made a note to check out anything I bought or sold that looked interesting.

So I KNOW I saw a KMFDM cd and thought it looked sick, and there's no way I didn't buy and listen to it. I was just absorbing so much new music at the time, and also learning about music so different from what I knew, even though I listened to metal and classic and all kinds of stuff still. I also had a lot of cds in a huge pile in my car so it was easy for ones to get fucked up or I'd let people take them. That's when I got into deftones too, from seeing the white pony cover. Arcade fire, meat puppets, the breeders, vampire weekend, thats how I found all of them

@zorotl i didn't listen to all of it yet but I was tabbing through the other songs looking for something as good as the hits from it and they all sounded kinda the same. I mean especially when I was just talking about chromakopia (where every song offers something totally different) as pop like, the variety in production wasn't there for me

Fun and enjoyable to listen to and not necessarily am trying to have a complicated emotional and artistic experience

Just saying since this was my thing - idk your cannabis consumption rate but it impedes the absorption of electrolytes. I had pain and migraines way before using weed, but heavy use can make it worse instead of treating it. Also both winter and smoke dries sinuses which can increase migraines, make sure to use eyedrops, humidifiers, and try nasal saline gel if thats an issue
