@captainarcee That might do the trick. Plenty of badge engineered hardware with that chip, but it has proven to be the most stable out of the cheap ones.

@captainarcee This one does audio too, it shows up as a uvcvideo and usb audio devices. I've used it to get video camera feed to OBS studio and this is the only stable enough I've found that runs for hours without mysteriously dying thanks to firmware issues. Most of this stuff is super flimsy.

This specific one is made by Macrosilicon and its USB ID is 534d:2109.

@captainarcee This is the best device I've come across. I use separate composite/s-video/scart adapter before it. It's so generic it doesn't seem to have any major model markings on it, but it was sold by the somewhat known Hama brand in a department store.

@aliss I think the big problem with chess is that the player doesn't quite feel the sense of pride and accomplishment when playing, so they should include crypto-based AI-enabled web3 micro-transactions to it. The pieces could be equipped with long range weapons, cast with hasten (or slow to opponent) and have shields to deflect attacks.

Some won't believe even when I show them there's no secret drain magnets in the games. Most odd movements can be just explained by spinning ball hitting rubber parts. @jacklaridian @TheRealElvira My first encounter with Elvira was the 80s pinball machine. It took some years after that for Movie Macabre to surface here in northern Europe, but I think I saw couple of seasons then on local TV.

When it comes to real treats, I was so hyped when the 90s pinball machine was released with a lot of humor from the series; the 3rd pinball machine that was released 2019 was the first one I ordered in box as new!

Still need to do a marathon of the series with my SO!
