@gamingonlinux As someone who doesn't know. If I have Steam properly configured on my, say, Linux Mint machine... does that count as a SteamOS machine?
@pixl_xip@cwebber Accepting AI generated code does make me wonder if the Supreme Court ruling stating that AI generated content not being copyrightable might also lead to breaking license protections on code that use other licenses?
@bruces It seems like the Spearphishing of the near future is going to be finding these earlier adopters that have turned their lives over to an OpenClaw agent. Then ingest their public data and set up websites that have a high SEO value for the types of stuff that their OpenClaw agent will be on the lookout for and seed those sites with indirect prompt injection attacks.
1. Seed custom websites with indirect prompt injections for early adopters
@gamingonlinux I highly recommend reading More Everything Forever by Adam Becker. The truly bizarro thinking on display in some influential AI circles is startling.
@bruces "Altman claims that users are beginning to see it his way. “GPT-5 is the first time where people are, ‘Holy fuck. It’s doing this important piece of physics.’ Or a biologist is saying, ‘Wow, it just really helped me figure this thing out,’” he says. “There's something important happening that did not happen with any pre-GPT-5 model, which is the beginning of AI helping accelerate the rate of discovering new science.” (OpenAI hasn’t cited who those physicists or biologists are.)"
@greenWhale@Fragglemuppet Absolutely. I ESPECIALLY like it when people quote post using screenshots.
If people are going to do that, PLEASE make the effort to put the text of those posts in the alt-text. I am sighted and they are hard for me to read. I am sure that they are a necessity for the sight impaired.
@Gargron I turn off watch history and only use my subscribed list. Turning off watch history seems to "break" youtube's homepage. You don't get algorithmic suggests and instead get a banner asking you to turn back on watch history.
I just scroll down on my subscribed list and work my way up on videos that I may or may not want to watch.
If I am feeling organized, I do that, but add the videos to a watch queue and work my way through that (removing as I watch).
