@rysiek in Germany, Meta and Twitter get a lot (well, not really a lot, but more than usual) of straight-talking media coverage atm also outside Fedi. For the reasons discussed on Fedi :blobcatsip: that might be a factor and perhaps it's the same elsewhere.

@rysiek I kinda feel in Germany is already not really pushed anymore. It's still even in some gvmnt proposals, but it always has these vibes "huh, who forgot to remove *that*?"

@rysiek I'm going to go out on a limb here and say blockchain will be silently omitted just to appear trustworth when you say "well, we're doing proper quantum AI, not this distributed nonsense"

@rysiek you wouldn't believe how often I get asked "is this legit" and it turns out they aren't even subscribed to that particular service. People just lose track of their contracts or are scared that it might be legit anyway because it's "something from this internet" and that is obviously one giant impenetrable hotchpotch of very serious businesses.
