I read stuff on my #ereader (using #koreader)
I use #zotero in my laptop
Anyone know how to sync highlights from ereader to zotero?

@carl "getting better organised is not that hard"
Strong disagree. If it wasn't that hard why are we not further, moving faster? I think getting better organized is hard! Good organizational practice are memetic, but still huge variety between orgs.
What do you see as the lowest hanging fruit for getting better organised?
@ntnsndr + please publish & tell me about them :)
"We are not outnumbered. We are out-organised"
- attributed to Malcolm X
I think this quote, which I first heard a couple days ago, sums up my so much of politics and activity. Been going through my head a lot.
Pluralism is the only way
@woodbark hmm... I guess 'playing' is striving as a worker, in the hope that will lead to promotions in or between companies ---> capital accumulation, passive disposable income, secure home ownership, etc
@woodbark 'not playing' would be unionising, worker collective formation, dropping out/silent quitting/Tang Ping and any other anticap stuff
The chances of winning the "middle-class lottery"—and transforming from worker to owner—grow ever slimmer 🎲
What would it take for 'managers', developers and people with PhD's to realize it isn't worth playing any more? 🤔
"Cooklang – Recipe Markup Language"
I love this but also think it'll never take off (but should)
@kaia got mine from zamnesia last week...
"Random Mosaic – Detecting unauthorized physical access with beans, lentils and colored rice"
https://dys2p.com/en/2021-12-tamper-evident-protection.html#random-mosaic-rm
1) put device in bag 2) put bagged device in another bag 3) pour in a mixture of different colored beans, forming a visual mosaic 4) send picture of mosaic to recipient
EDIT: author is on fedi @dys2p
@bot yes. Quite a lot. But please refer to my other reply to cjd. My point is not about the case, but about presenting a 5 year old case as current.
@bot please see reply I just made
@cjd that's 5 years old and I recall the king taking pretty swift action on it?
@cjd why you bringing it up now?
@ntnsndr looks good! I'm getting a slight alignment issue on chrome/brave on mobile though, right side cut-off.
just got the #passkey demo on https://www.passkeys.io/ working on #linux
- distro: pop OS ("Ubuntu")
- browser: #firefox 120.0.1
- seurity key: #yubikey 5 NFC
'just worked' after setting a #FIDO2 PIN via YubiKey Manager https://support.yubico.com/hc/en-us/articles/360016649039-Enabling-the-Yubico-PPA-on-Ubuntu#01H30DBXGX5RDD4AM7M815GAA3
Who can recommend me a german-english dictionary app that:
- works on #linux and/or #android
- is #floss
- doesn't need internet connection
- doesn't use electron
- has noun genders
- has verb conjugations
@kaia wise is still good enough I've not even throught about alternatives
