The most annoying part was using cmake which I’m trying to force myself to use against my better judgement. Next up is either vulkan or sdl3 gpu learning or both.

Martin Kift (mousebythesea@mastodon.gamedev.place)'s status on Tuesday, 17-Dec-2024 06:12:42 JST Martin Kift @sinbad I was considering how long I could get away with not upgrading my phone and tablet to the latest iOS AI infested release, and then I realised both devices were too old to have access to said AI features allegedly - so not has my reluctance to upgrade said devices, since they are fast enough, saved me money, but it’s helping to protect me from AI shenanigans. Win win.

I didn’t get the job.

I’m still tinkering with rust, but I need something more familiar to prototype with faster.. I could always switch back later.
I’m still slowly progressing my Cish based game (pretending to be an engine) which is fun but also a bit slow.
I was tempted to try unity/dots but I’m not sure how much I’d gel with it.. I also like I see code I’m using.
Anyone using dots?
