Dumb shell question: Is there a magic readline/bash/shell shortcut that allows me to "stash & clear" a command I've partially written so I can run something else, and then continue later?
E.g. when I'm writing a lengthy `cp` command and midway I realize I have yet to mkdir the dest dir.
Switching my 3D printer webcam from MJPEG-based to h264-based streaming (https://github.com/AlexxIT/go2rtc/) is easily one of the biggest-payoff changes I've done with my setup, only surpassed by PEI print surfaces.
First ABS print after one decade went pretty okay. Layer adhesion is not fantastic (cranked up the temp a bit) and there seems to be a bit of overextrusion on small skin parts. My best guess is that I need to recalibrate pressure advance to account for the differences in viscosity. Will do that next!
While printer goes brr I also took the chance to give go2rtc a try (as a replacement for ustreamer) and holy molly it is fucking awesome. Streaming h264 directly from the webcam yieds orders or magnitude better quality than mjpeg.
My UPS is telling me my server room draws ~130VA apparent power, and ~100W real power. I'm leaning towards trusting this thing (it's a fancy UPS), but that power factor seems... not very good? I was expecting +/-0.9, not below 0.8. Is this a normal thing for consumer-grade, PC power supplies to do?
Near 30, they/them. Kubernetes maximalist. I write code, design circuits, and make things smaller in very precise ways. I also play games and watch anime but don't tell anyone because that's kinda cringe.#cofe :bunRetro:
