To add to this, I gleaned from our conversation that he has pulled this shit with my 2 neighbours (he owns the houses either side too). It seems they have both started paying rent to him directly. I'm gonna try and form a tenants union to fight this bullshit. Any advice, tips or tricks welcome.

@mstrmustache @BendingUnit I try my absolute best to avoid passing judgement until someone says something that is a major red flag. Dog whistles tend to be how I navigate, but that's not always reliable, either way I try to keep an open mind so I can make new comrades.

We can only build a unified left if we actually unify and connect.

@BendingUnit working class people can be easy to write off as ignorant, especially when they work menial jobs and exposure to people in those roles comes off with negative or fascist talking points. But many are as brilliant or observant as the most vocal philosophers and there is always a place in my heart for a working class man who tells it like it is.
