When I was about seven years old, I was playing outside one evening when I noticed there was much more sunlight than there should have been.

“Is the sun never going to set again?” I asked my mother.

“No, it’s just the summer solstice,” she told me and explained how it worked. I was mesmerized. What an incredible day of the year this is.

I’ve loved it ever since. ☀️

As a reviewer and reader, I have been noticing a gradual but firm uptick in books whose genres are not labelled correctly.

For the sake of your readers, please label your books appropriately.

There are plenty of people who love genre X and want to know ahead of time that this is something you write.

Let’s make it easier for every reader to find the genres they enjoy and avoid the ones they do not.
