@Gargron This is Trump playing big-boy dictator. He thinks this makes him look strong to his daddy, Putin, but he just looks pathetic and he’s only ultimately helping China. The freefall of America is in full swing now. Former allies will be trampling each other to form tighter relationships with China. Who knew making America great would be such a boon for China?? Loops is great but I’d like to be able to specify “no AI generated videos”, actually that should be the default with an opt-in for the few crazy people that actually want that slop. Perhaps when users post video they have to click “does not contain AI” and if they incorrectly label videos they are defederated? How about it @dansup ?

@dansup Not sure what all the drama is about but, hey, it’s the internet. Expect the worst. If you can’t accept that and develop a thick skin, you should probably leave for your own mental health. From my point of view you are making cool Fediverse platforms that I appreciate. I’d encourage you to keep doing that and try not to become an assh*le along the way. You don’t have to give the haters a voice and I certainly don’t need or want to hear about the drama they are creating.

If every app bends over backwards to support Bluesky, what’s their incentive to federate? Which they probably will never do anyway.

@mekkaokereke @PJ_Evans JFC, stop the lies, this has absolutely nothing to do with Biden. I first heard about it in the 1980’s, when Regan greatly expanded it’s use as part of the “war on drugs”, but that doesn’t really matter because a 5 second internet search would show you that it goes back HUNDREDS OF YEARS.
