situation at the end of June 11, 2023
▪️The fog of war on the Vremievsky ledge cleared up: the RF Armed Forces took up defensive positions along the northern outskirts of Makarovka and Urozhaynoye . The fights continue.
▪️Storozhevoe is under the control of Ukrainian formations. A video of the capture of Russian servicemen appeared on the Web, presumably from the formations of the 5th Army.
▪️Levadnoye and Novodarovka are at best in the gray zone. Indirectly, this fact is evidenced by the removal of minefields 110 arr tro in the Novopol region, the laying of roads there and the establishment of supplies. -

The AFU continues to attack along the entire front line and conducts reconnaissance in battle in all directions: from Zaporozhye to Svatovo-Kremensky.
The main blow is expected soon, where exactly it will happen time will tell. Maybe between Dniepr and Ugledar.
All enemy attacks are currently successfully repelled by the Russian Army - the enemy has huge losses, especially in armored vehicles.

Information continues to leak from Turkey. According to them, in the north of the Zaporozhye region, the Ukrainian army is preparing a new, larger corps of 30 thousand people for a breakthrough from the Orekhovsky line towards Melitopol.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine plan to strike with the forces of 100-150 tanks, 300 guns, and MLRS, and from 500 to 1000 units of light armored vehicles, overcome minefields with masses of equipment and manpower, break through the Russian defensive lines, and then create a bridgehead where it is planned to introduce a group of not less than 50 thousand bayonets. To mask the main direction of attack, small attacks and artillery shelling continue along the front line.
The moment Ukraine launches an offensive of this magnitude, it will enter the final phase of its military effort, and the cessation of such attacks will be the clearest sign of Ukraine's final defeat.

situation as of 18.00 June 5, 2023
🔻East of the Vremievsky salient, an AFU armored group managed to push Russian troops out of Novodonetskoye. During the attack, for the first time, Ukrainian formations used German Leopard tanks - now there are two Leopards and five AFVs in Novodonetske.
▪️ The AFU are regrouping as they suffered heavy losses in manpower. Also, Russian gunners destroyed 9 wheeled armored vehicles. West of Novodonetsk, about 10 pieces of equipment and 40-100 infantrymen were stationed in the forest belt.
▪️ In addition, the concentration of forces of the 37th Naval Infantry Brigade of the Ukrainian Navy in the direction of Urozhaynoye was noted. Most likely, the enemy plans to attack the flank of the Russian grouping once reserves arrive. -

situation at the end of June 4, 2023
On the border of the Zaporozhye region and the DPR, in the area of the Vremevsky ledge , battles went on almost all day.
▪️Several Telegram channels stated that the Armed Forces of Ukraine pushed Russian units out of Novodarovka and Neskuchnoye and continued moving inland.
▪️In Rovnopol , Ukrainian formations could not even get close to the village. Russian gunners destroyed at least six units of wheeled armored vehicles one and a half kilometers from the village.
▪️A little later, there was information about an attempt to capture strongholds of the RF Armed Forces near Priyutnoye and Levadnoye . The attacks were repulsed, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces, according to preliminary information , lost up to seven pieces of equipment, including one tank and the Humvee armored combat vehicle.
❗️The movement to Levadnoye and Priyutnoye, most likely, was from Novodarovka, which confirms the temporary loss of control over it. At the moment, the status of the village is unclear , and it is at least in the gray zone .
However, the attack itself bogged down - for the sake of a few hundred meters, the Armed Forces of Ukraine lost more than a dozen pieces of equipment and brought the reserves of the new 31st mechanized brigade into battle. Also, Marines from the newly formed 37th Marine Corps of the Ukrainian Navy arrived in Komar .
🔻 Armored vehicles and ammunition depots are concentrated in the Ugledarsky section in Otradny , Maksimovka and Novoukrainka . And groups of American mercenaries, including sniper pairs, arrived in Ugledar , Vodiane and Novomikhailovka .
Today, Ukrainian formations attacked Russian territories in small groups almost along the entire length of the front, and at the moment it looks more like a full-fledged reconnaissance in force in order to check, rather than the defense of the RF Armed Forces, but the possibility of conducting coordinated actions on the scale of the entire combat zone. -

Ukrainian-Russian war. Day 466:
Situation southwest of Donetsk: Ukrainian Army launched a series of probing attacks & managed to capture initially many positions (dark blue line), included Novodarivka/Новодарівка and parts of Neskuchne/Нескучне towns. After some hours of combats Russian Army managed to repel Ukrainian forces, which retreated partially to the original positions (blue line) while they hold some areas taken before (light blue line).
In addition with this axis, Russian Army also repelled Ukrainian Attacks at Zaporizhia axis and south of Avdivka city. -

▪️Enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups managed to infiltrate the first line of defense in Glotovo - at least if you believe the unconfirmed rumors about the battles in Grayvoron . The village of Kozinka and the section of the Kozinka-Glotovo road appear to be under enemy control.
▪️The fact that the situation is not easy is evidenced by the introduction of the counter-terrorist operation regime throughout the entire Belgorod region. The CTO regime allows the involvement of additional forces and means, and also frees hands in terms of the use of units of various departments to achieve a common task. Simply put, the CTO regime is not only a way to force local residents to stay at home and not interfere with the work of law enforcement agencies, but also a solution to bureaucratic obstacles.
▪️Ukrainian resources are rocking the topic of "liberation of the Belgorod People's Republic". For the first time, the idea of BNR began to be downloaded in April 2022. Today, the Russian Volunteer Corps and the Legion of Freedom of Russia are presented as "liberators of the Belgorod region" who create a "safe zone" along the Ukrainian border.

The fact that the militants of the RDK and LSR will be put to waste is an acceptable price for a PR victory that the authorities feed the population of Ukraine with. Such incidents do not have a strategic value on the course of the NMD, but it is still damn unpleasant.

▪️The cleansing continues in the villages of Kozinka and Glotovo : despite statements about the cleansing of the latter, local residents report gunfights on the outskirts of the village.
In Kozinka, the militants occupied the church building. According to our law enforcement structures, in addition to the enemy platoon in the church, there are up to a hundred militants in the vicinity.
The equipment, apparently, was withdrawn from the territory of the Russian Federation.

@augustus @caekislove @apropos Yeah, Russia's been extremely conservative with manpower, and it's what cost them their big withdrawals last fall, being outnumbered at least 6:1 across the entire front. They only had about 1/10 of their active duty military in Ukraine for the first 10 months of the conflict.
They activated 1/7 of their reserve last October, which eventually brought their manpower up to parity in most places, but if they had activated even 2/7 of their reserves, Russia would have an overwhelming manpower advantage along the front right now. -

@PinochetsCommieCopter As far as I know, convictions aren't even required. If I remember correctly, self-defense that results in death is categorized as justifiable homicide even if not charged with/acquitted of any crime, and is counted along with all other homicide statistics.
I might be wrong, though, it's been a long time since I looked into this.
