@evan Oh good to know! Perhaps I should do a similar thing like maybe #EvnPoll but I imagine there are very few (if not zero) people who follow both of us and are interested in polls from one of us but not the other

I'm looking at a few options (Epicyon, Bonfire, Mobilizon, Hubzilla, Friendica) but not sure that any of these meet all my requirements.

Maybe I'm just shoehorning fedi into this? I hope there's a near-perfect fit somewhere that I've missed lol (2/2)

I'm looking to ease my friendgroup into the fediverse and we’re in the market for a shared calendar. Here are my ideal features:

- I would like a server where a user can post an event to everyone or a predefined subgroup of users or just a few specific users.
- I would like a dedicated group chat / page for each event. (1/2)

@mcc @Nifflas oh shoot i forgot about this but when Unity bought(?) it I think they changed it to be a Unity only thing? Now it’s part of the ‘Unity Dev Ops’ service.. something tells me they don’t have non-Unity use cases in mind
