So a customer just wrote me that they are accelerating their production in support of government requests, and to do that they want to share my company information and my companies proprietary information with Palantir, and they want to use a Palantir software.
I told them to fuck off and not to share any of my information with Palantir. And it landed them on the list of companies I do not do business with.
@Infoseepage yup, I saw the same in German news. It is the typical trump chaos. He thinks he can dictate actions to other states, the normal diplomacy is bypassed and instead it is done by "x"posts. Seems that does not work...
@inthehands oh, the recession warnings are flashing at my little company. Sales are starting to decline. At these big retailers the warnings must be bright red. So they are getting ahead of the curve and start laying off people. It all is about the economy.
@jackhutton And the broken #nyt can't even do simple math. "It is not clear how far the gift will go toward covering the salaries of the nation’s 1.3 million troops."
$130 million divided by 1.3 million soldiers is $100 per soldier.
That should cover their pay for a month or two. /s
@inthehands what would happen if we called it simulated intelligence, SI? An artificial object implies that it still has the properties of the original, while a simulated object only pretends to be the same as the original.
