I hate pepper. The reason we have salt and pepper in everything is because some French king (don't remember which one) decided there were too many different spices and forbade his kitchen from using anything but salt and pepper.

For some reason, the rest of Europe decided to follow this stupid order and it has lasted centuries.

A couple of decades ago, my sister decided it was too stressful to buy gifts, so she told the family she wasn't doing it anymore and that no one should buy her gifts either. A couple of years later, no one was buying or accepting gifts and it made Christmas so much better.

We still buy Christmas gifts for kids we knew, but that's it.

Well... I would boycott this company for its ties to Saudi Arabia, but I don't think I've bought a game from this company that was made this decade.

@gamingonlinux A few years ago, I realized more than half the games I own on steam I've never even started. Since then, I've limited the number of games I can buy to less than half the number of games I've finished since I last bought any games.

This is working, but I still have not started 1 in 6 games I've bought.

In 2001, Death rates in liberal lead counties used to be 2% lower than in conservative lead counties. By 2019, that gap had increased to 16%.

Covid-19 closed the gap initially, because it hit cities first, but they it expanded.

I hear Valve is going to release a version of Linux that's optimized for games. They obviously have one for Steam Deck, but they are apparently making one optimized for PCs.
