@ada @Jain that’s great to hear! How are they handled outside of hajkey and iceshrimp, is it like Jain said and quotes are used? If yes, then do they display simply as a post link with a content warning on mastodon/other platforms that don’t have quotes?

@Jain it does, i’m not sure how it works on iceshrimp since i didn’t try it yet, but hajkey’s content warning boosts just straight up don’t work

their way of being “simpler, privacy friendly” was a complete lie, they ran for every new trend that popped up and try to find a way to add it to their search lol

their default search engine isn’t Bing + If you care about privacy, just change it, Vivaldi isn’t forcing you to use Bing or Google + You sometimes get a message on the new tab with Vivaldi asking you if I want to use a more private search engine like DDG and Startpage
Their UI not being open source is the biggest thing you can probably put against them lmao
