While I feel sorry for the people suffering from the destruction caused by #HurricaneHelene I do not feel sorry for people like John Daly whose home was destroyed by the global warming he has helped cause by supporting Republicans.

I really don't think that the general public is getting a good picture of the state of the Kremlin's army and the Russian economy.

It is significant that Putin's forces are now having to ride motorcycles into battle. That says a lot about the state of their military situation.

I get a lot of gruff for trying to defend Direct Air Capture of carbon dioxide from people that are aware of global warming, but do not understand what actually causes it and how desperately necessary it is to address it.

There are tons of academic treatises on what the risk of keeping global temperatures elevated for too long as well as on Direct Air Capture technologies that are sustainable, but as part of the fossil fuel industries efforts to demonize all climate action it's being demonized.

The USA has added over 400 billion tonnes of carbon dioxide into our thin, precious atmosphere. To me that indicates that every one of the 350,000,000 Americans should take it as their personal responsibility to permanently remove 1,150 tonnes of carbon dioxide as fast as they possibly can while at the same time stopping to emit greenhouse gas pollution as fast as they possibly can as well.

Thankfully, Democrats are willing to make investments for our future like helping to start a Direct Air Capture of Carbon Dioxide industry despite the efforts of the fossil fuel industry's useful idiots and otherwise deluded people that don't seem to care about trying to provide a stable climate for future generations.
