I'm a forty-something IT professional that started his career tinkering with the C64 in the 80s.

I was on Twitter for a few years but that appears to be going down the drain lately, so figured I check out this Mastodon-thing.

Interests are music, technology, programming, electronics, 3D printing and retro-computing. My partner would say I have too many C64s and MCUs. (I'd strongly disagree.)

Chances are you are kind of using it, because #WebKit and #Blink rendering engines are all forked from this open-source project originally intented for the browser of the KDE window environment.

That basically makes #Opera, #Safari, #Chrome, #Chromium and #Brave (and possibly others) all *siblings*.

KHTML is *literally* the mother of all browsers.
