When I was younger, I enjoyed meeting new people and socializing for fun, because I believed that all people were good until they demonstrated otherwise.

Now, in Chump’s America, I avoid people broadly, because I have come to believe all people are bad until they demonstrate otherwise.

Why are the “no kings” organizers not talking about a general strike? Is the goal to actually change things, or is it just to hold up clever signs in a rigid, government-approved time and place?

Listen, #Democrats. You don’t need to be beholden to billionaires and corporate donors, and you sure as FUCK don’t need to be taking #AIPAC money.

#BernieSanders repeatedly smashed fundraising records in 2016 and 2020 with small donations from regular people.

#AOC won her first primary against a career politician who outspent her campaign 18 to 1.

Money doesn’t matter as much when you have a message and a platform that regular people can relate to.

There was ONE SINGLE THING from Chump’s first administration that no one could argue wasn’t a universally good thing; a good that was unmatched by most presidents: the development of a COVID vaccine over the course of months - an absolute miracle of modern medicine. Something that historically would have taken years or even decades to develop was brought from concept to world-wide distribution in 15 months.

Now, Chump is rolling back his greatest accomplishment.

I want a candidate who runs on scrapping the Supreme Court completely and starting over from scratch with 13 new justices who actually understand what “oath” means in the context of the oath that they swear to uphold and defend the Constitution. Is that asking too much?

Just thinking about how we all found out that Epstein had 14 phone numbers connected to Chump, and how a number of Chump’s immediate family and people in his innermost orbit were in Epstein’s black book, and how Epstein and Chump were basically best buds for like ten years, and that’s why you’re never going to see the actual #Epstein files.

Stop talking about impeachment; it’s absurd. That’s more of an improbability from this congress than universal basic income and free healthcare.

Instead, dwell on the reality that a majority of voters chose this, and that the biggest bloc of eligible voters didn’t see a reason to vote for anyone. There’s your real problem.

More evidence that I am jumping between timelines:

At the shop where I work, there used to be a small, hydraulic press - just a cheesy, bare bones one you’d find at harbor freight. I used it once to press a u-joint out of a truck driveshaft. Anyway, I hadn’t seen it in a while, so I asked my coworkers if someone might have “borrowed” it for a home project.

No one else - including two guys with whom I have worked almost my entire career - remembers this press.

Things like this happen often.
