@WarnerCrocker I only listened to the first season of Serial, and I used to listen to This American Life, but not via podcast. I’ve heard of one or two of the others, but that’s it.
@WarnerCrocker Exactly. You cannot say you have the "best" products, without actually caring about software quality, and features. The Apple Watch will not be the "best" health watch without a working blood oxygen sensor. But, that may just me being irritated about Apple not realizing this.
@WarnerCrocker I completely understand that not every single bug can be fixed, but when there are basic usability bugs that aren’t fixed, it’s disconcerting. My list:
1. “Now Playing" complication on watchOS. It doesn't do anything, and hasn't since watchOS 11 b1.
2: Apple TV and how it doesn't actually switch from “Movies" to "TV Shows" (or vice versa) until I switch a second time.
3: "Movies" and “TV Shows" still appear in iTunes on iOS and you cannot remove them. They're useless.
@Gargron I was just thinking about how long I’ve been creating webpages (although I wasn’t good at all in the beginning). Suffice to say, it’s been a long time. I still remember the early days myself. A long time ago; but also seems like yesterday.
@bbusschots I've been spending a lot more time thinking about the parallels between now and 1930s Germany. I recently re-watched the documentary series “U.S. and the Holocaust" by Ken Burns. It was not a good time, and I think we are headed back there very quickly. It will be a significant regression.
I ordered a new Apple Watch Series 10. Here are my thoughts on the device as compared it to my previous Apple Watch Series 9. Some items covered include physical aspects, color, and the speaker.
@davidgerard how long before someone forks “Go” into a language that is the exact same except strips the telemetry out. Naturally, the name would have to be either “Stop” or “Caution”.
