3. White lady.

It refers to a female ghost wearing a white long dress and with a long black hair.

For the #Japanese people, or any one familiar with the character #Sadako #貞子 from #Ring #リング, that's very similar, if not the same.

寄り添う（よりそう）means to snuggle or cuddle up to somebody, like a child to its parent.

That's the dictionary definition, but recently I often see it used differently, without the physical sense, meaning to be kind to someone and try to understand their feelings.

As an #Asian myself, I'm happy to see that ideas, developers, and software from #Japan are going mainstream. There are a lot of things the West, and the world for that matter, can learn from Japan.

Not only from the Japanese, to be exact, even from #Korean made software. I talked about last year how #Korea created its own Internet culture that not even #Google and #Microsoft can compete with. (See: #Naver's amazing interconnected platforms; what Google would have been if they had a vision.)

cojak.org was a great help to me for the latest 20 years or so. It was a mostly static site of hyperlinked Chinese characters with radical tables, stroke order animations, code points for Unicode and other encodings, and Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese and Vietnamese pronounciations.

There are a lot of things I miss from #Japan, e.g. amazing cleanliness and organization of the cities. But what I miss most is an incredible variety, abundance, and ubiquity of food. I searched and found that there are 137,000 restaurants and bars in #Tokyo alone. The pictures here are of the showcases of food found in the basement of every department store, known as "depa-chika." In a less fancy way, you can find these in the stores at train stations.
