While Redqueue was a pain to implement and debug in the beginning, it seems like #AndStatus is no longer filling in all the mentions when replying. -

Is there some flag or setting I need to change to make my new #pleroma instance compatible with #AndStatus? It gives me messages like saying my password is wrong when it's not, or that the server is busy. My old instance @fulner worked fine, and this one works fine in Husky. @lain @AndStatus -

I changed my timeout value on #AndStatus from 30s to 3050s I hope that will fix the problem of you getting dozens of repeat posts and replies from my #GNUsocial account -

@xz25 If I do a native quote post from friendica's web interface it looks similar to this on mastodon. I most often use #AndStatus app on android which allows me to use multiple accounts with one app in one feed. I think in this case I saw post of @hellomiakoda on a different account but I thought it would be better to re-toot it to my libranet.de followers than whichever account I saw it on (probably one of the ones associated with my employer) so I selected SHARE to the post on AndStatus and chose #AndStatus as the one I wanted to share via and picked a different account so it showed as a new post from one account via AndStatus. I could have copied the URL from the OP opened the web client copy/pasted the URL into search hope my instance finds the same and then click Re-Share on the post that showed up, but I'm lazy. -

Still has built in support for pump.io (i.e. identi.ca), one of the only ones that still supports GNU Social natively and still has regular updates. Living in a rural area it's great to be able to download my feed and read it at my leisure even when there is no internet.

I don't think there is any change in the API. My suspension is that after a recent upgrade to this server they either have a bug that they no longer sending an expected SUCCESS response, or it's taking too long to send it, and b then #AndStatus retries to b send it again, and I end up with dozens of the same replies until I realize it and delete it from the #AndStatus outbox. But that's a lot of assumptions on my part. I don't get the multiple replies using the web client or Mustard for Android. (Mustard is super old and hasn't been updated in like a decade, it still OStatus/GNUSOCIAL as StatusNet). #AndStatus doesn't have the same failure when I post a new quip, nor does it when replying to a post using my friendica account that I have set up as GNUsocial/Ostatus. -

I know I don't get the repeating replies when I use Mustard, I'm guessing mustard just shoots and hopes for the best, #AndStatus has a retry mechanism. -

Hmmm, seems to be an in compatibility between recent versions of GNU Social & #AndStatus. I suspect #GNUsocialjp isn't sending a success response that @andstatus is expecting. !gjp -

@hellothere word brother! The fact I primarily access the 'verse via #AndStatus which allows off-line usage of the fediverse, great for us rural folks, but the UI design, including sharing links, was first designed like a decade ago or something back when the 'verse was primarily just identi.ca
Still regularly updates bugs and stuff, otherwise "if it ain't broke don't fix it"
