The NBC10 Boston Investigators reported on September 11, 2026 that the lone holdout juror in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial has a history of domestic violence allegations, an active restraining order, and a pending eviction case — details that raise questions about the jury selection process.
* In September 2021, the juror was charged with assaulting his then-wife after allegedly grabbing her by the throat and throwing her into a dresser. * * * His 13-year-old nephew called 911. The charge was later dismissed and the couple divorced. * The nephew filed a restraining order after allegedly being punched by the juror — and that order was still active while the juror sat through weeks of the Clancy trial. * A housing court judgment for $12,000+ in unpaid rent was secured during the trial; the landlord is pursuing eviction. * NBC10's chief legal analyst Michael Coyne said the juror's questionnaire "will have to be reviewed by prosecutors" and noted that lying on a juror questionnaire is a crime.
The trial ended in a mistrial after the jury was deadlocked 11-to-1 for seven days of deliberations following five weeks of testimony. The 11 jurors wanted to find Clancy not guilty by reason of insanity; the holdout refused to budge despite admitting reasonable doubt. Fellow jurors described him as "arrogant" and said he "wouldn't engage," scrolling on his phone during deliberations.
Clancy's defense attorney Kevin Reddington says he plans to file a double jeopardy appeal to get the case dismissed. The Plymouth District Attorney's Office and defense team both declined to comment.
The reporting has drawn criticism — CNN contributor Shermichael Singleton suggested the investigation is racially motivated, since the holdout is a Black man and the only person of color on the jury.
Not to mention, saying one should respect "someone's identity" is like saying one should respect someone's self-image, or opinions on football teams, or their career goals.
Quite apart from that being stupid, what an earth would even be the point?
The point about 'turning the other cheek' - it may have been the downfall of the preservation of Xianity.
Another thing that strikes me as ironic is that Jesus essentially said we don't need church buildings but that 'wherever 2 or more of you are gathered in my name, there shall I be also'.
HOWEVER, I fail to understand the wholesale adoption of Islamist nonsense and violence as though it were an actually USEFUL religion (if there is such a thing) when the whole thing is based on the subjugation of women and all other things to selfish men. Oh and of course the absolute destruction of anyone or anything that wasn't 'born Muslim'.
There is nothing that I as a former protestant Christian, long time atheist, could possibly gain from govs protecting the horrors of Islam. The only way I can understand this is postmodern 'queering' of all things and of course the markets, the oil and the MONEY. Otherwise there is no sense to it at all.
Nothing I have learned about Islamism could possibly convince me it's a better alternative than any other religion. Apparently a lot of Muslims are turning to Xianity which is a slightly better alternative. The problem with all religions is that ultimately they turn to totalitarianism which is the opposite of Jesus and his disciples' lives.
I credit my family history for redpilling me on election fraud long before the topic became a national talking point. It's not a conspiracy theory, it's a reality that the country has been living for generations. Back in the day, it was as simple as burning ballot boxes, the only difference now is that the fraud has had to become a bit more sophisticated.
