I was contracted once by a school to get rid of their older classroom workstations for students and migrate them to a VMWare Horizon solution along with thin clients. School management specced out a single server and thought that it would be able to handle 60 students connected concurrently. They were very wrong in that assumption. :DD From log in on those shitty thin clients to Windows desktop took like 10 minutes. Another good two minutes for a browser to load. And 15 minutes for their main software used in classes to load. Before you could even start to work on something, half of the class time already passed.
