The old dualistic idea - that you are your soul wearing a meat suit - is clearly incompatible with Christian teaching, though it is the driving force behind all the tranny excitement of the last decades. I think it might have been Locke who came up with the conjecture that you are your data, which has been seized by the tech bros in their attempt to defeat Death by uploading their data somewhere.

I guess it is true that every debate is a theological debate.
