So, clearing your cache worked? Truth be told I liked the older style better, however, each emoji in the quick picker is another request to the server, which gets rate limited. Not only that, but some browsers literally cannot handle rendering that many emojis at once. I had no idea about that until someone told me just today. So, I edited the code to allow the quick picker to have 8 rather than 6 and then repositioned it so it works better on larger/smaller viewports. I imagine as time goes on and cache clears itself, this will work better. I think I have it set to three days. Is it a change? Yeah it definitely is, but I think people will find things perform better and that's the goal.
