A good chunk of people here have a unique skill or trait that makes them interesting. I'm an image scientist. There's a Math professor hanging out around here. There's people who have huge piles of knowledge about church history. There's people who have specialized knowledge about dead bodies. There's people who have a pulse on Russia. There's people who trade gemstones. There's a landlord who knows lots about real estate. There's people who started their own farm up. There's actually skilled artists.

Cleverness alone...really doesn't put you up against the huge pile of people who have real and meaningful skills. You have to leverage your intelligence into a meaningful specialty, or you just seem like a loser.
