@clintruin @ralfmaximus @GottaLaff @taatm @JonChevreau @stux @falcennial If "firing the Supreme Court" were deemed an official act, then the president who tried to do so couldn't be personally prosecuted for it, which isn't the same as "the rest of the government would follow along." Chief Justice Roberts would still show up for work the next day, lawyers would appear and argue, etc. The "firing" order would still be unconstitutional and void.
