I doubt their whole story.

I've known a lot of atheists. The "I was Christian but then I looked into other religions and felt doubt" don't generally behave like this.

According to Mordred they used to be religious though. Either they got diddled by a pastor or something else to make them hate Christians specifically and aren't telling us or this is some long game subversion.
