However, it was later determined that he was sincerely not a pedophile, merely suffering from porn addiction that plagues so many men today, and had never intented to download CP.

And like I said the government or affiliated organizations have attempted to place CP on dissidents before, dissidents with a much greater capacity to defend themselves in court than some homeless twenty-something "neo-Nazi" disowned by his own family. It would not be difficult for the government to do so and who would take the time and the financial and reputational hit to try and prove the government's meddling in this particular case?

He's probably guilty, I'm not saying your next endeavor should be to bail him out of prison, but I personally am not 100% convinced of the story.
