In the case of animation corpo slavery isn't voluntary because traditional 2d animation costs a lot of money, so you either obey them or don't draw cartoons.

That's why i'm so excited about the advent of ai art and animatediff, these things don't cost money and give you the ability to draw whatever you wish. So theoretically we could have animated series that would cost no more to produce than a mod for skyrim.
