I hate it and other sun tzu-esque advice lol. it's totally useless because it takes practice to even know what a victory condition looks like in the first place, and to practice a skill you need to fail a lot. by the time you learn what a victory condition looks like you won't need this advice because you'll instinctively know how to utilize it. it's basically someone saying "to win you must win", it's self evident.
