A major problem the LGBT movement has is the banal fact that when Conservatives meet a LGBT person who is generally speaking, normal, it turns out they don't really care, outside of a few hardcore evangelical types.

So to address this problem of Conservatives not being hateful enough, they come out with songs about "We're coming for your children" and Drag Queen story hour which are explicitly and knowingly created for the specific purpose of infuriating Conservatives into overly broadening their target selection.
