I understand the concept of tiered accounts based on price. It does cost money to run a social media site. But for some reason on the internet people expect something for nothing. It’s either paid subscriptions or ads. Or both :/

The issue with Torba is *how* he spends the money. If he wants to take a salary and blow it on hookers and coke, fine. It’s his money. But to invest company funds into AF and invite an entire group of people who are hostile to your current user base, and then to have the audacity to berate and shame your users for not paying enough money…that’s the problem.
