Just got over having shingles. Zero stars, would not recommend. The pain was considerable, lasted several weeks. The pain finally faded, mostly, but now I have nerve damage to a few places on my face and head. The top-center of my lip is numb. So is a spot on the roof of my mouth behind my front teeth. That makes eating ... interesting. The left side of my nose is numb. This makes it feel like I often need to blow my nose, even though nothing is there. There's a spot a bit lower and to the left of the outside corner of my left eye. It's still kind of tender, and at the same time I often feel like there is a hair or something tickling it. I often catch myself rubbing it and my nose. All this combined makes sleeping strange, fitful, and I keep having weird dreams.

I didn't get the clot shot. But after all this bullshit, yeah, I'm getting the shingles shot next year.
