Mark Allerton@bynkii @sophieschmieg @evan @tess @ks @mekkaokereke my personal view is that a federated network would be good for preventing a Twitter style disaster where one guy walks in and destroys the place, but there’s nothing wrong with the components of that federation being large, and having some regulation involved - and that Mastodon will probably evolve in that way if it is to survive.
