Activism is a questionable thing: move to a place to change the place. Green cards can be revoked at the discretion of the Secretary of State: https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/8/1227 . I don't know if there's a definition for "reasonable ground to believe would have potentially serious adverse foreign policy consequences for the United States" or if there's been a court case that clarified it, but it essentially means that even a green card holder can just be sent off. In any case, I don't think the Khalil thing is what it is claimed to be.
