     The techbro class is starting to reap the unintended consequences of H-1B abuse as the earliest imports have attained the blessed green cards they were chasing, rose up the corporate ladder to hiring positions, and became the architects of total firm jeetification like metastasizing corporate tumors. That's why so many of these hidden H-1B listings that have been uncovered don't even make sense in the original context of cost-cutting anymore. Now the hiring process is warping into a trans-continental racket that you're labeled a bigot for pointing out because only le ebil whitey could ever commit the sin of racial hiring preferences. Not that it really matters, considering most of them have already cashed out billions. It might sting their egos a bit to watch as their legacies implode under brownoid thermite like the Twin Towers in the coming years though, so at least there's that.

     The portmortem analysis here is that among the many, many problems with the entire system of "temporary" labor-related vias, the most fatal flaw of them all is that they offered any viable path to a green card in the first place. An obvious exploit to anybody with an IQ above room temperature, but that's because it was one left open intentionally.
