Even better, I can listen as I go about my exercise routine. Routine seems to be the main conveyance of my goals for self-betterment.

I like the suggestions. I'll keep them in mind as I drive events forward. I try to limit my screentime significantly now (I gave my gaming PCs to my brothers' kids actually) so watching videos will have to go by the tablet, but that's doable.

@Owl @MK2boogaloo it's more a listen than a watch anyway

@Owl @MK2boogaloo owl if you don't mind i have two suggestions here (you could try either one or both)
one, try adding a rosary to your daily routine. you may enjoy it as a meditative practice regardless of what your current faith/beliefs are.
two, try watching some fr ripperger videos on youtube. he'll do some deep dives on theology in a way you can't get out of a sunday homily

@Owl you're born into a Catholic family right? Start right there, you don't need to turn to Eastern Orthodoxy for the truth.

I suppose you are correct there. My brother is thinking of converting, hence I was.
I believe spiritual nourishment would be good for me regardless.

If I have no interest in the faith I would have even less interest in the aesthetic.
Consider that I have been searching for something more than mindless atheism.

I have an interest in joining the Orthodox Christians after a brother of mine talked me into at least listening about them and the demonstration of their faith.
It does seem unique despite it also venerating saints, but the inclusion of the Apocryphal texts is something I do consider.

@Owl switching church won't solve the issue if you've never been a believer in the first place, you're just going to switch the aesthetic.
