      I mean, this was a problem before now because as we've experienced repeatedly, PDP is on that platform. Something even Tony recognized was bad, but Wiz doesn't. Now it's less ambiguous than even that, and now apparently it is an idea that is so comfortable that Maija can openly say that the closest thing to his instance's experience on this side of the wall is tsundere.love, and apparently there is no disagreement with the sentiment.

      The conclusion I came to realize two years ago is that hosting your own is the best solution. But not for everyone.

If you are hosting something like a fedi instance which makes outgoing requests, make sure to also proxy that, otherwise you leak your actual IP. That is also why you cannot hide fedi instances behind basic CF tunnels.
