@WhiteJihadJaws @Hoss I've seen some of his stuff recently. He's had enough. Seems to me, that at the very least, he's always seen himself as an Englishman. And seeing that being deliberately eroded, along with the myriad of other calamities infecting GB, he's moving to the right.

Given that there's a lot of information to absorb, alongside the fact that people are just conditioned to ignore and even hate alternatives to the narrative, it's hard to make anyone see. I don't blame him, I'd only blame him if he were pushing the narrative that this is all okay and we're just supposed to be cool with it like so many others do.
His blinders are slipping and that's a good thing. People still listen to Sargon.

@Owl @Hertz @WhiteJihadJaws @Hoss is that really a problem? There's nothing wrong with acquiring knowledge and sitting on it for later. Allowing current status quo to dissuade you from learning is short sighted. I'm not saying there's any particular (knowable) reason to learn any particular thing, but learning for learning's sake is I think a sign of a developed mind. Unless something is wrong up top, e.g. you're mega depressed, you ought to want to know things. Even useless things, so long as you're vaguely interested. If political theory isn't vaguely interesting to you, skip it.

The problem is, everything is screwed so it doesn't matter trying to take it apart in my head. I don't look at the Titanic and go "hmm this ship should be floating," because it's screwed six ways from Sunday. I know things are screwed, because my day to day life is screwed.

Even if the former was kinda milquetoast and the later propoganda like any proper news network, it was nice to have views of happenings from a third party position outside of the US's immediate sphere of culture.
